A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MISS COURTNEY:
Miss Courtney was born in Anchorage, Alaska into a family that was always surrounded by music.
She holds a BFA in Theatre from Northwestern State University and a MLA from Louisiana State University. In her studies, Miss Courtney developed a love for live performance, art, and creativity. She has performed in several children’s theater productions in her hometown of Pineville, Louisiana.
Miss Courtney currently lives in Baton Rouge with her husband and son. Together, they own and operate Baton Rouge Music Studios (BRMS) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. BRMS teaches music lessons to all ages and also provides young musicians with unique opportunities such as playing in bands, performing at local venues, creating music videos, and recording in a studio.
Miss Courtney discovered that singing to her newborn son gave her great joy. She soon realized that he responded to songs she had sung to him in the womb! With this amazing discovery, Miss Courtney knew that she wanted to share the gift of music with other developing and curious minds. In Miss Courtney’s Kindermusik class, parents and children are encouraged to explore, let loose, and have fun!

Welcome back returning students! We are looking forward to a great fall semester. As it stands now, we are almost all booked up for fall. Yes, already! We are currently looking at ways to open up more availability so that we can provide our education and performance experiences to more students.
Right now, if you pay the semester in full by September 3rd (Labor Day), you will be entered into our Presonus Audio Bundle Give-a-way! AND get a free crash course on how to use the gear from one of our instructors! This bundle is compatible with all of the hardware and software at BRMS, so you can create tracks at home for fun then bring them to the studio and continue working on them using our gear under our guidance. Cool huh? Well what about this: you can even bring your tracks to upload to our larger rig in our recording studio and add full drums, bass, guitar, or any other instrument while learning how to multitrack using our Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 mixing console! Any of this sound over your head? Well think again! Anyone can learn to use this stuff. Presonus has spent countless hours and resources on creating hardware and software that even young students can use to create professional quality sounds.
We love that question! Click on the video below to see for yourself!
